My wife, Jacqueline, and I passed several licensure examinations while we raised our eight children and built our family life together, running several businesses.
Because the future is built by ordinary people who choose to lead with responsibility, curiosity, compassion, and vision, for the generations that will one day follow after us…
The first step toward changing the world often begins much closer to home.
I have spent decades building schools, leading companies, closing sales, studying medicine, philosophy, law, and business, and raising a family. Through all these experiences, one belief has remained with me. A society with opportunity is a society that is harder to exploit.
I believe every person deserves the chance to live with dignity. To be educated, nourished, healthy, and able to stand on their own feet with quiet confidence.
At the same time, our future depends on our youth. Education must go beyond classrooms and diplomas. Young people need the ability to think clearly, adapt, communicate, solve problems, and turn knowledge into action. Digital skills, financial literacy, creativity, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning are no longer optional. In a fast-changing world shaped by technology and artificial intelligence, the advantage belongs not to the biggest, but to the most adaptable.
I have read thousands of books in my lifetime, from medicine and law to philosophy, literature, and world affairs. I survived cancer. I have known success, loss, grief, and rebuilding. I have mourned two beloved children. These experiences taught me that progress is not measured only by statistics or economic charts. It is measured by real human lives, by families strengthened, by minds awakened, and by opportunities made accessible.
After all the titles, studies, businesses, and books, I have come to a simple conclusion.
For me, it begins with being a better father, a better husband, and a better human being.

I am Eddie Ambalong Masorong. I am sixty-six years old.
I became a private school owner of a Montessori school and the president of several companies. I have always been described as exceptional at sales.
As a young man at the University of Santo Tomas, I was reared in philosophy by one of my lecturers who took me under his wing and care. He encouraged me to be curious about life’s bigger questions as stepping stones, which eventually resulted in my own philosophy books for peace for generations to come.
As a young man, I was also trained for a career as a surgeon. My pre-med was a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of the East, and my medical school was the University of Santo Tomas. Afterwards, I finished a Master’s in Hospital Administration at Ateneo de Manila University. Yet, in my heart, I have always wanted to embrace a career as a lawyer. For my stepping stones out of medical school and graduate school, I closed real estate sales to get by. That is how I met my most beautiful wife, Jacqueline, while she was presenting as an interior designer and general contractor in Makati.
I am sixty-six years old. I am a dad first and foremost to eight beautiful children, a grandfather to ten beautiful grandchildren, and I have always been described as exceptional at sales. At my age and with the experiences in my life, I have always believed in my children. I want to be a better dad and husband to my family while achieving my vision of positively contributing to peace in the world.
I have read thousands of books in my lifetime, including The Anatomy of Peace by Emery Reves, which was famously endorsed by Albert Einstein. I believe that if the world walks towards the same vision of equal opportunities for all, our societies will be safer, and ordinary people, who are most susceptible to inequalities, will be harder to exploit. At sixty-six years old, I want to educate generations toward an egalitarian society that is not contingent on unemotional data, but on real impact in our lives.
I believe that the first step towards that is by being a good dad.
I still read thick law books, medical books, business books, international law books, geopolitics books, ordinary literature, newspapers, catalogues of brochures, encyclopedias, and even simple articles online. I survived cancer, and I have mourned the loss of two of my beautiful children, Kristine Aisha or her nickname, Tintin, and Edris or his nickname, Emem.
I am here to tell my story.
Sincerely,
Eddie Ambalong Masorong
